Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Zooke collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data when you use our websites, dashboards, applications, APIs, support channels, and related services.

This policy applies to personal data we process as part of operating Zooke. Additional notices may apply to specific products, promotions, integrations, or jurisdictions where required by law.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as account details, contact information, support requests, payment-related data, prompts, uploaded files, reference images, videos, and generated outputs associated with your use of the Services.

We also collect technical and usage data, such as device information, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages visited, timestamps, workspace activity, generation metadata, and security logs used to operate and protect the platform.

Payment card details are generally processed by our authorized payment providers, such as Paddle.com, rather than stored directly by Zooke. We may receive billing status, invoice information, country, and transaction identifiers related to your purchases from our payment processors.

How we use personal data

We use personal data to provide the Services, authenticate accounts, process transactions, deliver outputs, respond to support requests, enforce policies, detect abuse, secure the platform, and improve product quality and reliability.

We may also use data to communicate with you about account activity, service updates, security notices, billing events, feature launches, and other operational messages. Where permitted, we may send marketing communications that you can opt out of.

Legal bases for EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions

Where required, we process personal data based on one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests such as service security and product improvement, and consent where the law requires it.

If we rely on consent for specific processing, you may withdraw that consent at any time, though this will not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.

How we share information

We share information with service providers and subprocessors that help us operate Zooke, such as hosting providers, model providers, storage providers, analytics vendors, payment processors, customer support tools, fraud-prevention tools, and email delivery services.

We may disclose information where necessary to comply with law, enforce our Terms, respond to lawful requests, investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset transfer.

  • AI model providers may process prompts, uploads, and reference materials to generate outputs and apply safety checks.
  • Payment processors (such as Paddle.com, serving as our Merchant of Record) may process billing data under their own privacy terms and regulatory obligations.
  • We may share limited information with advisors, auditors, insurers, and professional service providers where reasonably necessary.

AI-specific processing

When you submit prompts, images, audio, video, reference material, or structured instructions, those materials may be processed by Zooke and third-party model providers to generate outputs, troubleshoot issues, enforce safety rules, measure performance, and support requested features.

AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results. You should review outputs carefully before relying on or publishing them. Do not submit sensitive personal data or high-risk material unless you are comfortable with the relevant processing and have the necessary rights and legal basis.

International transfers

Because Zooke serves users globally, your personal data may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections, provider commitments, and security controls suited to the nature of the data and the service.

Retention

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, handle billing, resolve disputes, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business operations.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of data, the product feature involved, whether the data is tied to an active account, and our legal or security obligations.

Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand product usage, measure performance, prevent fraud, and improve the experience across our websites and applications.

Depending on your region, you may see cookie controls or consent mechanisms. You can also manage certain browser-side controls directly in your browser or device settings.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have rights related to marketing preferences and, in some places, rights involving automated decision-making.

To make a privacy or data-rights request, contact team@zooke.io or use our support form. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Children

Zooke is not intended for children who cannot lawfully use the Services under applicable law. If you believe a child provided personal data in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can review and take appropriate steps.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are also responsible for protecting your credentials and devices.

If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us immediately so we can investigate and help secure the account.

Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal obligations, or operational practices. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice where required.

Privacy questions, data requests, abuse reports, and security concerns can be sent to team@zooke.io.
